Clinical Development Specialist

As a Clinical Development Specialist at Takeda Pharmaceutical, you will play a vital role in driving the implementation of country medical affairs plans related to key opinion leader (KOL) engagement and data dissemination. Working under the guidance of the Country Medical Lead, you will systematically identify the needs of KOLs, investigators, and other stakeholders in patient care, establishing strong professional relationships and providing credible scientific expertise.
The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree in life sciences and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 2 years as a medical science liaison. Fluency in French and English is required, along with therapeutic area experience in colorectal cancer and/or lung cancer. You will be expected to travel frequently, up to 70% of the time, and maintain a clean and valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:- KOL Engagement:
- Foster compliant scientific exchange with external stakeholders to expand Takeda's research, advisory, and educational partnership opportunities.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key thought leaders in healthcare, academia, payer, and government organizations.
- Provide scientific liaison support to investigators involved in company-sponsored studies.
- Data Dissemination:
- Contribute to compliant data dissemination according to country medical affairs plans.
- Ensure scientific exchange with healthcare professionals by fostering fair and balanced medical and scientific communications.
- Present clinical and disease state information to various audiences upon request or according to country medical plans.
- A doctoral degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 2 years as a medical science liaison.
- Therapeutic area experience in colorectal cancer and/or lung cancer.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Frequent travel required, up to 70% of the time.
- A clean and valid driver's license.
