Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
  • Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring optimal quality and clarity
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety

**Requirements:**

  • CMRITO Designation
  • Membership with CAMRT and OAMRT an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communications, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Other duties as required
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance required
  • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
  • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired

**Working Conditions:**

  • Available for all shifts (days, evenings & weekends) as per department schedule
  • Stand-by/On-call as per department needs

**Salary:** $-$ per hour
