Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (MRT)

Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist (MRT) to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our diagnostic imaging department. As an X-Ray Technologist (MRT), you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Develop and process X-ray images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
  • CMRITO Designation
  • Membership with CMRITO and OAMRT an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communications, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Other duties as required
  • Satisfactory performance and attendance required
  • Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
  • Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment including providing proof of full COVID vaccination prior to being hired
Working Conditions:
  • Available for all shifts (days, evenings & weekends) as per department schedule
  • Stand-by/On-call as per department needs
