Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist (CT Technologist) to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • CMRITO designation
  • Membership with CMRITO and OAMRT an asset
  • CT scan experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Working Conditions:

  • Available for all shifts (days, evenings & weekends) as per department schedule
  • Stand-by/On-call as per department needs

Compensation: $ to $ per hour
