Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (MRT)

Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist (MRT) to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our diagnostic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • CMRITO designation
  • Membership with CMRITO and OAMRT an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work a regular part-time schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. Stand-by/on-call shifts may be required as per department needs.
