We are a dynamic company seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. Our client is a leading retail company that requires a talented professional to manage their projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and meet customer expectations of quality and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, and lead the scoping, planning, costing, and pricing of projects.
  • Manage customer acceptance of the solution, ensuring customer expectations align with the agreed statement of work.
  • Coordinate the establishment of a project environment, including preparing and maintaining a roles/responsibility matrix, personnel plan, and resource schedule for each project member.
  • Measure, track, evaluate, and communicate progress against the project schedule using project reports, including project financials and project reporting compliance.
  • Author a weekly status report that is distributed and reviewed each week with the end user (Customer) in status meetings.
  • Utilize tools such as MS Project, PSA, Excel, and MS Word to manage projects.
  • Ensure execution and accuracy of monthly forecasts, billings, and manage procurement and payment of contractors.
  • Travel is estimated to be approximately 40% of a work year.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of project management experience.
  • Experience working effectively in challenging solution implementation environments.
  • Experience managing complex, technology projects.
  • Appropriate PM formal education, such as a Master's Certificate in Project Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through PMI.
  • French Canadian verbal and written skills are an asset.
