Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Strathcona Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Dental plan and health care plan available
  • Permanent position with 35 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
