Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team at Tilbury Veterinary Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and carrying out administrative activities of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the office, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and carrying out administrative activities of the establishment.
  • Office Operations: Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Data Entry: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence, and perform data entry.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including planning and controlling budget and expenditures.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills: MS Office, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, team player

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with a strong attention to detail. They will be required to work as part of a team and demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a high level of organization.
