The Higher Cannabis company is a small locally owned and operated retail cannabis store. Looking to build a strong, positive team, and to educate our customers on the growing cannabis industry and provide a great experience to our community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train retail staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company policies
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure proper stock levels
- Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store displays
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and employee performance evaluations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role (Cannabis Industry Preferred)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of stock management principles and practices
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage daily operations

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tilbury, ON N0P 2L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 3 years (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Managers License (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
