Northern Health Authority offers an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Informatics Specialist, Acute Care Division.

We are seeking a seasoned healthcare professional with experience in clinical applications and workflows, as well as expertise in training delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical and technical staff to provide clinical knowledge input for the design and functionality development of clinical applications.

In this role, you will participate in clinical business reviews, needs assessments, and contribute to the development of policies and processes that support the use of clinical applications in best practice models for service delivery.

You will also be responsible for providing application training for staff and physicians, utilizing your clinical nursing and system knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in acute care nursing, including one year of experience with computer-based clinical information systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

This position offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, you will receive four weeks of vacation, extended health and dental benefits, and municipal pension plan.
