Job Title: VP of Architecture and Engineering

At Diligente Technologies, we are seeking an experienced VP of Architecture and Engineering to lead our Global Architecture and Platforms Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our global architecture vision, ensuring that our technology teams have the right architectures, tools, and platforms to deliver in a secure, standardized, and operationally scalable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the team responsible for the shared platforms and practices that empower technology teams.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Digital leadership to drive standardization, consolidation, and reusability across our technology system portfolio.
  • Establish the approach for and lead the team to create a distributed governance framework that will lay the foundation for architecture standards.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics partners to formulate a robust data architecture for use within enterprise integrations.
  • Lead a team of solution architects that will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure that the architecture supports business processes and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Firm understanding of various software development lifecycles, including SCRUM, agile, and waterfall.
  • Experience with setting up distributed architecture governance, work management, and testing automation.
  • Highly data-driven and experienced in influencing and onboarding teams to measure their delivery velocity and quality using DORA metrics.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to advance and develop a team of technical professionals.
