Welcome to Kasian, a leading architectural practice where we strive to create built environments that inspire and improve lives. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist, Senior to join our team in Vancouver.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Architectural Technologist, Senior to lead a variety of production tasks and prepare documents needed to take a building from concept to completion. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with project stakeholders to deliver project documentation requirements through all project phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
  • Develop and review Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
  • Coordinate consultant documentation and review the work of consultants
  • Direct the preparation of tender documents
  • Attend coordination and site meetings
  • Coordinate drawing production to accommodate required tender packages
  • Research construction materials and perform code and bylaw analysis
  • Perform Quality Control procedures and provide mentorship to other team members
Requirements
  • Minimum of eight years of experience as an architectural technologist
  • Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree
  • Experience working on projects in various sectors, including industrial, commercial, and senior living
  • Proficiency in construction documentation, including envelope detailing
  • Fluency with Revit
  • Solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes
  • Passion for accuracy and collaborative approach
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary starting at $78,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, and skill set.
