Join our dynamic team at Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning as a Senior Architectural Project Leader.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Architectural Project Leader to enhance our Vancouver office, where we engage in diverse projects spanning various sectors such as commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, hospitality, civic architecture, and healthcare facilities. Our Architects are involved in every phase of the design and technical process, from initial concept development to project completion, ensuring comprehensive oversight with support from senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with skilled architects and technologists to deliver high-quality projects for private sector clients.
  • Define project parameters, service scope, detailed work plans, drawing requirements, timelines, and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Innovate design solutions while addressing client and user needs; engage in stakeholder discussions, develop design concepts, and prepare presentation materials.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage the project team to produce effective design and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with project consultants, including electrical, mechanical, and structural engineers.
  • Address complex design and technical challenges.
  • Cultivate client relationships and actively nurture these throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective project delivery through strategic resource management and adherence to timelines.
  • Conduct site evaluations and oversee construction administration.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized degree in architecture with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
  • AIBC registration is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading projects with a construction value of at least $25 million with minimal oversight.
  • A creative and forward-thinking mindset towards design, with a keen interest in contemporary trends, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Strong technical expertise and proficiency in technical drawing, particularly in Revit.
  • Exceptional graphic communication and presentation abilities.
  • A capacity to enhance value at all stages of project execution.

This position offers a competitive salary starting at $90,000 per annum, based on a standard 40-hour work week. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and skill set.
