Job Title: Worm Picker-Packer

United Bait Inc is seeking a skilled Worm Picker-Packer to join our team. As a Worm Picker-Packer, you will be responsible for harvesting worms from our animal farming facilities.

Work Environment

The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp conditions, odours, dust, and heat. You will be working in a rural area, with staff accommodation and room and board provided.

Job Responsibilities
  • Harvest worms from animal farming facilities
  • Work in a team environment to achieve production goals
  • Perform repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods
  • Use manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle worms
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with exposure to dust, odours, and heat
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Available for the advertised start date
  • Currently legally able to work in Canada
  • Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location
