Job Title: Worm Picker-Packer

United Bait Inc is seeking a skilled Worm Picker-Packer to join our team. As a Worm Picker-Packer, you will be responsible for harvesting worms from our animal farming facilities.

Work Environment

The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp conditions, odours, dust, and heat. You will be working in a rural area, with staff accommodation and room and board provided.

Job Responsibilities
  • Harvest worms from animal farming facilities
  • Work in a team environment to achieve production targets
  • Perform repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads and working in physically demanding conditions
  • Use manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle worms
  • Stand for extended periods and walk on uneven terrain
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Organized and quick learner
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
