Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at JD Accounting & Business Services. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires on-site work. The successful candidate will be required to work at our physical location and will not be eligible for remote work arrangements.
