Job Title: Financial Services Advisory Manager

We are seeking a **Financial Services Advisory Manager** to become a vital part of our Corporate Finance division - Financial Policies Group. This role will be instrumental in advancing Intact Financial Corporation's strategic objectives through expert accounting advisory services for intricate transactions, while remaining updated on the latest IFRS developments and ensuring our accounting policies are consistently refined.

  • Serve as a **key subject matter expert** in strategic transformation initiatives within the finance sector.
  • Develop expertise in **IFRS accounting standards** applicable to Intact Financial Corporation, particularly focusing on IFRS 17.
  • Provide guidance to regional and corporate finance leaders regarding the proper application of accounting policies in complex transactions.
  • Oversee compliance across all reporting segments with Intact's accounting positions and facilitate interactions with external auditors.
  • Support the optimization and implementation of financial systems and processes to align with evolving IFRS standards.
  • Contribute to the training of various departments on Intact's accounting policies and serve as a primary contact for diverse stakeholders.
  • Assist team members with various **ad-hoc projects** related to accounting policies.
  • Demonstrate experience in researching, analyzing, and applying changes in accounting standards.
  • Possess **bilingual proficiency** in French and English.
  • Exhibit strong skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
