Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care to a diverse acute medical patient population in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient and family focused care within the RN scope of practice, based on the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Function in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures, including emergency codes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and all members of the healthcare team
- Practice collaboratively with members of the healthcare team to provide elements of care for patients/clients with complex health issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Plan of Care and evaluates its ongoing effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Current RN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BScN preferred
- Certificate of competence in BCLS
- Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) and/or Orthopaedic Certificate
