Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Enhanced Care Clinic in Newmarket, ON. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and allied health partners.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional care and a strong commitment to patient-centered practice. With a minimum of one year recent primary care nursing experience, you will possess the advanced nursing care knowledge required to assess, diagnose, and treat patients effectively.
This is a part-time and full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $75-$90 per hour, reflecting the clinic's location in Newmarket, ON. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients in-person
- Coordinate care with in-house physicians and pharmacist team
- Perform proper documentation and record keeping to fulfill medico-legal responsibilities
- Understand and be compliant with clinic process and procedures
- Conduct patient interviews, histories, and arrange follow-up care appointments
Requirements:
- Active practice registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner or equivalent educational preparation
- Advanced nursing care knowledge related to health assessment, diagnostic, pharmacotherapeutics, and invasive and minor surgical procedures
- Minimum of one year recent primary care nursing experience
- Excellent patient focus and communication skills
- Experience with EMR is an asset
