Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at Ontario Inc. in a permanent position.

About the Role:

This role involves working closely with clients to identify their technical requirements and documenting these to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients to understand their requirements.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions that meet client needs. This will involve providing advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery. In addition, they will assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.

The IT Business Solutions Specialist will also conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems. They will resolve conflict situations and provide ongoing support to clients after sale. Finally, they will execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements
  • Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar field. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients to understand their requirements.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, paid bi-weekly, plus benefits, including health and dental insurance, and a retirement savings plan.

Work Details:

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week. The work language is English, and the work term is indefinite.
