About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at G. Central Market Inc. as a Sales Supervisor. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our supermarket/grocery store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Sales Performance: Assign sales workers to duties, establish work schedules, and prepare reports on sales volumes and merchandising matters.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Organize and maintain inventory, manage cash, and ensure a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Work Environment: Urban area, retail business, supermarket/grocery store.
