We invite applications from experienced Finance and Corporate Services Professionals to join our team in Northern Alberta. As the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you will play a key role in supporting and assisting in the direction of the municipality, making a lasting impact on the residents and businesses around you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement short- and long-term operating and capital budget strategies.
  2. Serve as the Chief Financial Officer and trusted advisor to the CAO on all matters financial.
  3. Lead the development and implementation of Legislative Services, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA designation or equivalent; CLGM considered an asset.
  • 5 – 7 years of increasingly responsible positions in complex, multi-faceted organizations, with a minimum of 2 years at a senior level in finance, administration, corporate services, or a related field.
  • Experience with municipal legislation, regulations, and reporting requirements would be an asset.

In return for your expertise and commitment, the Town offers a competitive salary ($120,000 - $150,000 depending upon experience), a comprehensive benefits package, the provincial pension plan, and a supplemental pension plan, along with generous vacation time and management time off.
