Corporate Services Director Opportunity

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance and Corporate Services to join our team. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for developing and managing short- and long-term operating and capital budget strategies, serving as the trusted advisor to the CAO on all things financial, and overseeing Legislative Services and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage short- and long-term operating and capital budget strategies.
- Serve as the Chief Financial Officer and trusted advisor to the CAO.
- Oversee Legislative Services and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA designation or equivalent; CLGM considered an asset.
- 5 – 7 years of increasingly responsible positions in complex, multi-faceted organizations, with a minimum of 2 years at a senior level in finance, administration, corporate services, or a related field.
- Experience with municipal legislation, regulations, and reporting requirements would be an asset.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ($120,000 - $150,000 depending upon experience), a comprehensive benefits package, the provincial pension plan and a supplemental pension plan, starting with three weeks of vacation, increasing every year and 10 days management time off in lieu of additional hours.
