Job Description

Senior Technical Program Manager

Jobber is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Data Engineering team. As a Senior TPM, you will play a critical role in driving the discovery and delivery of scalable data systems that connect our data sources to critical business tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take on the responsibilities of a Scrum Team Product Owner for our in-house engineering teams, executing the product management workflow, backlog management, and participating in Scrum events.
  • Be responsible for cross-functional program management, helping to manage and drive complex cross-functional projects that require both technical and non-technical deliverables.
  • Drive project planning and execution, provide proactive transparency to stakeholders, and support teams to ensure timely delivery of their scope.
  • Educate, mentor, and train team members across the company on product methodology and philosophy.

Requirements:

  • Career experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or similar role.
  • A track record of building and shipping multiple products or technical solutions that have successfully delivered value.
  • A strong technical background that enables you to engage with engineers about architecture and technical considerations that impact backend systems.
  • A desire to learn what you don't know to help drive decision making.
