Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager

Jobber is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the discovery and delivery of in-product experiences, platform capabilities, and product integrations that drive critical value for our marketing, sales, and partnerships teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take on the responsibilities of a Scrum Team Product Owner for our in-house engineering teams, including executing the product management workflow, backlog management, and participating in Scrum events.
  • Be responsible for product vision and strategy, owning the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas.
  • Deliver features and technology solutions that make an impact on our internal teams, working collaboratively to prioritize work on the roadmap.
  • Build a plan, implement it, and then measure success, defining the release process and coordinating all activities to get a project launched.
  • Be responsible for cross-functional program management, driving project planning and execution, and providing proactive transparency to stakeholders.
  • Uplevel the team by educating, mentoring, and training team members on product methodology and philosophy.

Requirements:

  • Career experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or similar role, with a track record of building and shipping multiple products or technical solutions that have successfully delivered value.
  • Experience in SAAS business and an understanding of basic SAAS metrics that lead to business success.
  • Execution excellence, with a solid track record of managing projects and multiple priorities at any given time.
  • Next-level communication skills, with the ability to articulate the voice of the customer and the needs of the business.
  • A shipping mindset, with a focus on getting things across the finish line.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to contextualize work through various tools, systems, and processes.
  • A strong technical background, with the ability to engage with engineers about architecture and technical considerations.
  • Ownership, with a drive to do the right things for your work and be accountable for successes and shortcomings.
