Child Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at Dino Gantala. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, while also promoting positive behavior and social development
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them to become confident and capable individuals
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and physical development
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring that children receive a balanced diet
- Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their safe transportation
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence
- Help children with homework, promoting their academic success and confidence
- Cook and prepare meals for the family, ensuring that everyone has access to healthy and delicious food
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, promoting their independence and self-care
- Experience working with children, preferably in a home-based setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Patience and understanding, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities
