Key Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Shop for food and household supplies to ensure our children's needs are met
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to promote their overall well-being
- Organize activities such as games and outings to keep our children engaged and entertained
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to fuel our children's growth and development
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing a safe and reliable transportation service
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
- Help children with homework, promoting their academic success and development
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
As a Child Care Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care and support to our children in the comfort of their own home. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, using your initiative and judgment to make decisions and take actions that promote the well-being and safety of our children.
Language and Work ScheduleWe require our Child Care Specialist to be fluent in English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with our children and their families. The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
