Job Summary:

Ardene is seeking a highly skilled International Franchise Manager to lead our franchise partners in all functions of operating our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Franchise Partner Leadership: Lead the franchise partners in all functions of operating our brand.
  • Business Plan Growth: Manage the business plan growth for each territory, aligning plans with the franchise partner and Ardene key stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities to grow the business and strategize with the internal team on how to effectively achieve expected targets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate efficiently with all stakeholders to ensure projects and tasks meet targets and timeline.
  • Performance Analysis: Lead weekly analysis of business performance with Partner and align on action plan, following up on implementation and monitoring performance.
  • Business Driver Understanding: Understand key business drivers and holidays, developing an action plan to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Merchandise Mix Evaluation: Evaluate and influence the merchandise mix through an intimate knowledge of our customer in market.
  • Inventory Cycle Supervision: Supervise the inventory cycle and identify opportunities to improve or sustain optimal performance with inventory levels.
  • Marketing Strategy Coordination: Coordinate seasonal marketing strategies with Licensing Partner and Ardene Marketing team.
  • Licensing Partner Onboarding: Lead the process of introducing new Licensing Partners to Ardene's functions and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in franchising retail management (fashion experience preferred) and progressive international store operations experience.
  • Retail Management: Previous retail management experience in high traffic and high volume retail stores (preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and ability to work cross-functionally, cross-culturally, and build strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Travel Requirements: Flexibility to travel and visit Franchise Partner(s) and store(s); ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrates business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills.
