Job Summary

We're seeking a Manager to join our team in Sudbury, Timmins, or North Bay. As a Manager, you'll work closely with partners and senior staff to develop and implement tax and accounting strategies for clients.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing tax and accounting strategies for clients
  • Identifying and resolving accounting, audit, and tax issues
  • Developing strong technical audit, accounting, and tax skills
  • Managing and reviewing engagement files
  • Supporting and mentoring firm staff
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients
  • Playing a leadership role in firm processes and software applications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of progressive public accounting experience
  • Canadian CPA designation
  • Prior experience managing large, increased-risk engagements
  • Proven technical skills in accounting and assurance
  • Advanced accounting, tax, and software knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • A passion for client service
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
