Accounting Supervisor Opportunity at Alex McKillop Tax Ltd.

Alex McKillop Tax Ltd., a boutique firm in North Bay, ON, is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of success in managing and leading teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Review accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and reconcile bank statements.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Canadian Corporate Tax.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and support accounting staff.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
