About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our team. As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading our tax and accounting services, working closely with partners and senior staff to develop and implement strategies for our clients. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving accounting, audit, and tax issues, as well as developing strong technical skills in accounting and assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax and accounting strategies for clients
  • Identify and resolve accounting, audit, and tax issues
  • Develop strong technical skills in accounting and assurance
  • Manage and review engagement files
  • Support, manage, and mentor firm staff
  • Identify and cultivate new sales/service opportunities for clients
  • Play a leadership role with respect to firm processes and software applications
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of progressive public accounting experience
  • Canadian CPA designation
  • Prior experience managing large increased risk engagements
  • Proven technical skills in accounting and assurance
  • Advanced accounting, tax, and software knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • A passion for client service
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
