About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at La Bosco Bakery & Cafe. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that our team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe working environment.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from La Bosco Bakery & Cafe.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Reporting and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.

Work Scheduling

Establish work schedules to ensure that our team members are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 44 hours per week
