As a Director within the Capital Markets group, you will play a vital role in raising capital for our fund offerings, supporting both the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management and team members to identify and execute equity and debt financing opportunities for our fund offerings.
  • Conduct financial analyses to assess the performance of our funds and provide valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze competitor offerings, and study relevant news to offer perspectives and recommendations.
  • Create presentations, offering documents, and marketing materials to present our fund offerings and strategies to potential investors and other interested parties.
  • Work closely with legal, accounting, and advisory teams to perform due diligence on our fund offerings and ensure all necessary documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in private equity, capital markets, investment banking, fund management, asset management, corporate banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Completion or working towards Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA), or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Advanced knowledge of capital markets, real estate investment, corporate finance, asset management, accounting, and fund administration concepts.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, including managing cross-functional teams, delegating tasks effectively, and overseeing project development and execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working on equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, due diligence, managing external parties, and coordinating internal approvals.
  • Ability to develop investment strategies and provide recommendations for changes or enhancements to improve investment objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships, cultivate key internal and external partnerships, and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, with experience in preparing investor materials, such as offering documentation, tear sheets, and presentations.
  • Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical and critical thinking skills, with a strong focus on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial statement modeling and comparable analysis.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic changing environment, while demonstrating leadership, a sense of ownership, and a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of managing competing priorities and maintaining strong attention to detail under strict deadlines, while producing accurate results.
