About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Mortgage Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our capital markets division, you will conduct due diligence and financial analysis to underwrite and fund commercial mortgage transactions. Your responsibilities will include preparing prequalification summaries, term sheets, credit presentations, commitment letters, buy sheets, gathering and reviewing conditions precedent and legal documents, and ensuring thorough underwriting and funding of the loan.

You will work closely with clients, internal credit committees, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of transactions. Additionally, you will stay current with market information and commercial mortgage market trends, building a network within the industry through meetings, events, and involvement in real estate trade organizations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an underwriting role in Commercial Real Estate
  • Advanced level user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Possession of advanced analytical skills, with ability to interpret financial data and assess underlying asset values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes dental care and a range of other perks.
