Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College is seeking an Accounting Operations Assistant to support our team.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure efficient task management.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, controlling inventory.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work, preventing equipment downtime.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring seamless operations.


Requirements:


  • College or CEGEP education in a relevant field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude.

This is a permanent position with 35-40 hours per week, offering a stable work-life balance.
