Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Unit Leader to join our team at St. Vincent's Langara Long-Term Care in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day resident care activities of the nursing unit, supervising staff, and monitoring the resident acuity and flow of residents on the nursing unit.

In this role, you will act as a clinical resource to nursing staff, students, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care.

With a strong focus on resident-centered care, you will participate in rounds/clinics, collaborate with nursing staff to determine needs for consultation, and arrange for consultation when required.

You will also provide input into the development, evaluation, and delivery of orientation, make recommendations regarding changes or new initiatives, and participate in the orientation of new employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the day-to-day resident care activities of the nursing unit

  • Three years of recent related experience in long-term care

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated annual salary range: $80,000 - $110,000
