Lead Nursing Professional in a Long Term Care Setting

Located in Vancouver, B.C., Louis Brier Home and Hospital is a leading healthcare facility that prioritizes quality care, safety, and innovation. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) plays a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of patient-centered care.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nursing professional to lead our team of caregivers in providing compassionate and person-centered care to our residents. The successful candidate will have a passion for geriatric care and a strong background in clinical leadership, mentorship, and education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and efficient service delivery.
- Foster a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and performance management of nursing staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
- Minimum 3 years recent related clinical nursing experience in a geriatric practice environment, preferably with expertise in palliative care, wound management, falls prevention, and documentation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
