Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and client acquisition, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and providing tailored financial advice to meet the needs of small business clients.

You will work closely with other RBC advisors and specialists to create an exceptional client experience, leveraging your expertise in business development, customer relationship management, and financial planning. Your ability to think creatively, build rapport with clients, and drive revenue growth will be essential in achieving success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business objectives and operations
  • Provide tailored financial advice to small business clients, ensuring they have access to the right products and services to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with other RBC teams to deliver seamless client experiences and drive revenue growth
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of financial products and services, with a focus on small business banking
