Job Description
The Customer Service Agent will receive and manage customer calls, as well as process orders. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and managing customer calls;
- Placing customer orders and communicating with the shipping department of various functional units, if necessary, to provide the necessary information for efficient operations;
- Ensuring effective communication between the company's operational departments (technical services, credit and operations department) in relation to customer requests;
- Responding to customer inquiries about our products and services;
- Following up with customers;
- Preparing offers;
- Managing customer files;
- Other related tasks.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Secondary education diploma;
- Essential bilingualism (oral and written, French and English, as the incumbent will need to communicate with clients across Canada);
- Strong analytical skills;
- Customer-centric approach;
- Autonomy, initiative, and flexibility;
- Good organization skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Mail, and Google Drive applications.
Work Environment
This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The possibility of a hybrid work arrangement is available. The incumbent will spend most of their time in an office environment. The position may require prolonged periods of sitting; working on the phone and/or computer, as well as interactions with other team members and clients. Occasional lifting of heavy boxes weighing up to 40 pounds may be required, and the incumbent must be able to lift and move office supplies as needed.
