Job Description

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the General Manager and other senior executives at Desjardins. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the General Manager, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence.
  • Document Management: Manage and maintain confidential and sensitive documents, including filing, purging, and storage.
  • Communication: Coordinate internal caisse communications, including employee meetings, annual general meetings, and special meetings.
  • Event Planning: Assist in organizing logistics for various events, such as team meetings, committees, general meetings, training courses, and telephone conferences.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including tracking sales, maintaining the scorecard, and monitoring expense accounts.
  • Secretarial Duties: Perform various secretarial duties, including drafting, formatting, updating, creating, and revising information documents for the General Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Trade school diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
  • Language: Knowledge of French is required, as well as knowledge of French spelling and grammar.
  • Skills: Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives, knowledge of service standards, and professionalism and attention to detail.
