Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department at The Drawbridge Inn. This is a permanent full-time position that requires a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and quality throughout the hotel. This includes establishing operational procedures, implementing infection control measures, selecting and purchasing equipment and supplies, and supervising staff.

You will also be responsible for coordinating inspections of assigned areas, conducting performance evaluations, and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will need to supervise maintenance and repair services, coordinate with other departments, and respond to guest complaints in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping operations
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality throughout the hotel
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies as needed
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet expectations
  • Coordinate inspections of assigned areas to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to prevent stockouts and waste
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, and retirement savings plan.
