Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will develop strong relationships with our clients, supporting them in achieving their goals and living independently. This is a part-time position, with flexible scheduling, and requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage in person-specific community activities, including recreation, social activities, or life skill training.
  • Assist individuals in achieving their ISP goals, providing companionship and modeling appropriate social skills to build and maintain personal relationships.
  • Support individuals in staying safe by following person-specific plans.
  • Transport individuals to/from preferred activities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
  • Pass a Massachusetts and nationwide criminal background check (CORI and fingerprinting).
  • Current annual physical or the ability to be seen by PCP within 30 days.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
