About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Niagara's Best Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of front desk staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist guests with special needs and provide personalized service to ensure their stay is memorable.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Coordinate and review work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.
    • Manage the requisitioning of materials and supplies, maintaining a well-stocked front desk area.
    • Monitor and maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs as needed.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and moving frequently.
    • Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
    • Exhibit excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
    • Display dependability, judgment, and a strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands of the role.
    • Dependability, judgment, and a strong work ethic.
