About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience when visiting our retail stores.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, and cash reconciliations, and build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding customer expectations and leading by example.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods, and coordinate merchandise replenishment and the flow of merchandise from the stock room to the sales floor.
  • Compliance and Education: Adhere to all regulatory requirements by following processes and structure to ensure compliance, and provide education and reinforce company standards to employees.
  • Communication: Communicate changes in policy, procedures, products, services, promotions, or any other alterations that affect the customer, and support proper channels of communication that exist between the store, supervisors, and corporate partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the retail industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Provincial Cannabis Certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to motivate staff and build positive relationships with team members.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills; able to navigate difficult conversations in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Able to guide, direct and mentor employees to develop their knowledge and skills.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Overtime as required.
