Operations Manager

Bulkley Valley Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our senior management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our retail banking operations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement corporate strategies and policies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and coaching to reporting staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality service.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new deposit and loan products and services, ensuring that they meet the needs of our members.
- Ensure consistency across all branches and departments, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
- Assist in the development of new business initiatives and partnerships, ensuring that they align with our credit union's values and goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in retail banking operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop reporting staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
