Job Title: Wellbeing Leader

Shared Health is seeking a Wellbeing Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Shared Health Workforce team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a provincial workplace wellbeing strategy.

Main Function:

  • Support the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives, prevention strategies, and policies that promote the holistic wellbeing of the healthcare workforce.
  • Provide psychological supports, education, and training to the healthcare workforce.
  • Lead day-to-day activities that support the provincial wellbeing strategy, including providing Critical Incident Stress Response (CISR) support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the healthcare delivery system and/or in a directly related role in healthcare.
  • Previous clinical experience and training in providing trauma-informed, systemic, strength-based approaches, and experience in providing CISR in both a group and individual setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of mental health interventions, trauma, workplace stress, operational stress injuries, psychological safety in the workplace, and mental health and wellbeing.

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences or a related field).
  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and virtual platforms (i.e., Microsoft Teams).
  • Strong clinical skills, including consultation, assessment, CISR, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong knowledge of associated evidence-based best practices and advanced training in CISR, including mental health, trauma, and CISR response and support systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • May be required to travel throughout the service area, requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
