Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Wellbeing Leader, supporting the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives across the province. As part of our provincial wellbeing strategy, you will be instrumental in promoting a holistic culture of wellbeing, psychological safety, belonging, equity, and meaningful connection among healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives, prevention strategies, and policies to promote the wellbeing of the healthcare workforce.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Service Delivery Organizations, Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health (OESH), Shared Health, Manitoba Health, and other health providers, to achieve the goals of the provincial wellbeing strategy.
  3. Provide psychological supports, education, and training to healthcare professionals to foster awareness of mental health supports and enable wellbeing along a continuum.
  4. Serve as a role model and change agent for the organizational culture and vision of workplace wellbeing by leading day-to-day activities that support the provincial wellbeing strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the healthcare delivery system or in a directly related role in healthcare.
  2. Previous clinical experience and training in providing trauma-informed, systemic, strength-based approaches and experience in providing Critical Incident Stress Response in both group and individual settings.
  3. Strong clinical knowledge of mental health interventions, trauma, workplace stress, operational stress injuries, psychological safety in the workplace, and mental health and wellbeing.
  4. Experience and knowledge with delivering services and programs that foster equity, diversity, inclusion.
  5. Experience and demonstrated sensitivity in collaborating with Indigenous Peoples and culturally diverse populations.
  6. Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and virtual platforms required.
  7. Strong coaching and facilitation skills, including development and delivery of training to professional audiences.

Location
