As a member of Confluent's Sales Team, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth in our large, complex, and highly visible accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

Prospecting, Identifying, and Qualifying Sales Opportunities:

  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and pursue high-potential accounts.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.

Sales and Business Development:

  1. Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline while continuing to grow consumption in current customer accounts.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams, including Solutions Engineering and Professional Services, to ensure seamless delivery of Confluent solutions.

Value Proposition and Messaging:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of Confluent's offerings, products, and competitive landscape to effectively articulate the value proposition to customers.
  2. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to adapt sales messaging and strategies accordingly.

Success Metrics and Goal Setting:

  1. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and progress towards revenue targets.
  2. Work closely with leadership to set and achieve sales goals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
