Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead various business initiatives and IT projects, collaborating closely with Technology, Business leaders, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute technical and non-technical business initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead transformative projects, such as Dynamics 365 upgrades, CIS enhancements, MDM implementations, and market expansions.
  • Collaborate with hybrid Agile/Waterfall teams and provide support to the team and Scrum Master.
  • Ensure the streamlined operation of project management facets, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and project charters.
  • Assist analysts, specialists, and external partners in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT infrastructure, capturing requirements and providing transparency into tasks.
  • Identify and clarify roles and responsibilities of project team members.
  • Contribute to the standardization of organizational processes.
  • Monitor project performance and evaluate attainment of short and long-term objectives.
  • Develop and present progress reports and business cases to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful project management experience, preferably in the Utilities industry.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is required.
  • University Degree from a recognized institution or equivalent formal educational program and relevant IT technical and project management experience.
  • Proven successful CIS implementation experience in Utilities or similar industry considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery, ceremonies, and practices considered an asset.
  • Proven program management on large projects with external system integrators.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Project.
  • Working in an Oracle Utilities Software environment considered an asset.
  • Proven experience managing large enterprise-wide transformational projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or delivering IT Projects within outsourced and managed services environments.
