Job Summary

Prospera Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Sourcing team, you will be responsible for the operation of our contract administration software (Gatekeeper).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with Prospera's Management Signing Authority Policy.
  • Monitor compliance with Prospera's Vendor Management Policy and escalate any exceptions.
  • Provide support to Prospera's vendor managers as required.
  • Support contract renewals promptly and escalate any active contracts at risk of expiry in accordance with agreed processes.
  • Support vendor manager's execution of contract performance reviews in accordance with policy.
  • Provide support to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Strategic Sourcing analyst as required.
  • Manage inventory of Gatekeeper documents in compliance with policy, notifications, and access rights.
  • Coordinate low-risk sponsorship agreements.
  • Support reporting requests as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Strategic Sourcing department.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of related experience, specifically in purchasing, accounting, and/or contract administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive communication skills and ability to communicate and influence stakeholders.

  • A starting salary normally targeted around the middle of the posted salary range, determined based on the successful candidate's knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
